The Kodiaks moved into a first place tie in the conference Wednesday night by taking out the high-powered North Vancouver Wolf Pack 4-1. It was their eight win in the last ten games. The Bears take on the Knights Thursday for sole possession of first place.

The Kodiaks made it 3-0 less than two minutes into the second period before North Van got on the the board at the eight minute mark to cut the lead to two after two.

The Wolf pack stormed the Kodiaks in the third outshooting them 14-7 but Aldergrove scored the only goal of the frame thanks to some great goaltending making the final 4-1.

The Pack outshot the Bears 45-36.

Ben Giesbrecht was awarded first star stopping 44 of 45 shots. Quinncy Leroux took second star with a goal and an assist while Jordan Funk took third star honours with a goal.
